Genre-Fiction-Realistic Fiction
Chapter four is realistic because Jefffery catches the football and punts it back to "Hands" in a perfect spiral like he catched the football with one hand, weaved in and out of the varsity players, and saw it but didn't believe it until they improved notes.
Maniac Magee
Caring has a tremendous effect on people everywhere. Jerry Spinelli wrote a book called Maniac Magee that is about a Tall-Tale which portray the theme caring and that really affects our society today. Maniac Magee shows caring when Maniac fixed Amanda book with tape, when Maniac taught Grayson how to read and Maniac cared about Grayson as a family.
When Maniac Magee helped Amanda fix the book he ripped. Maniac didn’t just run all day he was caring about Amanda and helped her fix a book and Maniac cared about her stuff. “He helped out people on the streets, and at Amanda house’s”. As you can see Maniac cared about Amanda’s stuff, and when he taught Grayson how to read.
Grayson was excited when he had a friend. When Maniac was with Grayson Maniac got a book and then Grayson said “that I can’t read”. “Do you know how to read” said Maniac “ No I don’t know how to read can you help me” said Grayson. So I said that he does not just run all day he teaches people and gives stuff to people so they can help themselves.
When Maniac meet Grayson and taught him how to read he cared about Grayson as a family. He cared about Mr.Beale too but he cared about Grayson too. The most important thing is that people have a family. Maniac said “Grayson I care about you I didn’t want you died.
